Ms. Raichura is one of the most passionate and effective math teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. She was my middle school math teacher as well as my tutor for both math and the HSPT, and I truly appreciated how she consistently challenged my friends and me to think critically and go beyond standard expectations. Her ability to explain complex topics clearly, her engaging attitude, and her genuine care for each student’s growth set her apart. Thanks to her patience, creativity, and encouragement. I developed a whole new appreciation for math and entered high school ready for advanced precalculus – something I never imagined possible at that stage. Now, as an incoming freshman at the University of California, Berkeley, I’m continuing to explore my love for math as I pursue a degree in bioengineering – all inspired by Ms. Raichura’s early guidance and belief in my ability to succeed.

I remember in my early elementary school days, I found multiplication tables, fractions, and decimals quite challenging- looking forward towards middle school mathematics, the thought of more complex algebraic equations seemed quite scary. However, Ms. Raichura taught me how to confront the struggle with a mind driven by dedication and perseverance, ultimately transforming one of my initial weaknesses into my greatest strength. In countless hours of advancing my knowledge of mathematics, she has guided me through concepts ranging from solving quadratic equations to conic sections and trigonometry. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of Ms. Raichura, taking AP Calculus as a sophomore in high school! Thank you for giving a young, aspiring engineer the mathematical foundations to succeed in life.”

We’ve seen incredible progress since starting tutoring. The transition to middle school brought a big leap in difficulty—especially in math—and it was overwhelming for my child, who was also adjusting to a new school. With the Ms. Raichura's help, my child went from failing to earning a B+ and hoping an A this final trimester! I couldn’t be happier. Even better, my child specifically asked to continue with the same tutor through high school. I just wish Ms. Raichura taught more subjects!
